What personal information QuickStart Business Setup Inc. collects, how we use it, and the rights you have under Canadian privacy law. Effective July 6, 2026.

QUICKSTART BUSINESS SETUP INC. ("QuickStart", "we", "us") is a corporation incorporated on July 6, 2026 under Ontario's Business Corporations Act (Ontario Corporation Number 1001665316). Our registered office is 448 Gibraltar Drive, Unit 9, Mississauga, Ontario, L5T 2N8, Canada.
Scope of this policy
This policy covers information you provide to us when you visit this website, contact us through the form or by email, sign a service agreement, or use our services. It follows the ten fair-information principles set out in Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to enquiries and deliver our services, including:

- Information about your business and its systems that you share with us during a discovery call, blueprint, or setup engagement.
- Records of our correspondence and any documents we produce together.
- Basic website analytics (approximate location, pages visited, referrer, browser type). We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiries and quote or deliver services you've asked for.
- To administer contracts, invoices, and client records.
- To keep you informed of updates related to a live engagement.
- To meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations in Canada.
- To improve our services and communications.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.

By submitting the contact form, emailing us, or entering into a service agreement, you consent to the collection and use of your information for the purposes described above. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us — see below.
How we share information
We only share personal information with third parties in the following cases:
- Service providers who help us operate (for example email, calendar, CRM, invoicing, and cloud storage vendors) and who are bound by comparable confidentiality obligations.
- Professional advisors such as accountants, lawyers, or auditors when needed for a specific engagement.
- Where required by law, court order, or a competent regulator.
Where information is stored
We use reputable Canadian and North American cloud services (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and similar) to store client records. Information may be processed in Canada or the United States. We keep records only as long as needed for the service and for the retention periods required by Canadian tax and corporate law.
How we protect it
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including access controls, encryption in transit, and role-based permissions — to protect your information from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA and Ontario privacy law, you can:
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Withdraw consent to future use (subject to legal and contractual obligations).
- Complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you believe we have mishandled your information.
